Heads Up! showcases photographs of stencil graffiti in a hanging book format. Using a grommet on the front cover, the book can be hung on a wall, allowing the pages to cascade down to 64 inches long. It contains 16 photographs from New York to Vancouver and many locations in between, with each location noted on the photograph. The graffiti images are all faces and heads. Could these images be the artist’s self portrait? Or, perhaps a more profound statement on the condition of our society today—as in the image of a black man’s face behind a fence.
